Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
Desktop virtualization is software technology that separates the desktop environment and associated application software from the physical device that is used to access it.
- All the components of the desktop are virtualized
- All components are saved in a data center and backed up at regular intervals
- If a user's device or hardware is lost, the restore is much simpler; all the components will be present upon login from another device
- Because no data is saved to the user's device, we significantly reduce the risk of data being compromised if the device is lost
This technology has matured rapidly in the past couple of years and we are pioneering its deployment for small businesses.
